PERSONAL NOTE FROM MIKE FOLEY

FOLEY'S FITNESS 2.0

Good Day Members,

Since Day ONE of my planning for Foley's Fitness Center, I wanted to build a community of like-minded "athletes" of all ages and abilities, individuals that see exercise and nutrition as a I do, as a means to a new beginning, a sustainment in quality of life, complemented with a total health regimen.

As we began our journey on December 1, 2019, I so appreciated how the vision was quickly coming together. We were rapidly approaching 3,000 energized members that were regularly coming to Foley's from all surrounding Towns, plus out of State and Country visitors, each member and guest in different physical condition, each with personal goals in mind. Further, my plan for having, firstly, a large, open, and welcoming facility, a clean and well-maintained gym, a quality, customer-centric staff, new equipment, and partnerships with value-add service providers was in place and meeting member's expectations.

On March 18, 2020, the mission was paused. COVID-19 had infiltrated the United States (the world, in fact) and Government and Health Officials rallied our great Nation to slow the spread of the disease as preventative measures began to be researched, tested and deployed.

Here I sit on May 7, 2020 and I find myself energized more than ever to restart the mission, fulfill my vision and that of our members, more than willing to reopen and operate Foley's Fitness under "new normal" guidelines and protocols. The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally transformed our lives, businesses, and communities; yet, our mission at Foley's Fitness, to power health and wellness throughout our community of influence, remains unchanged.

As operations have been suspended, we have continued to enhance the facility and have added a few more pieces of state of the art exercise equipment, tested wearable fitness devices and ordered a couple of "cool" items scheduled to arrive in June. We have kept in place top-notch personal trainers, ready for on-site and health-oriented outcomes for our members; phenomenal instructors and meaningful classes (with social-distancing in mind); genuine and caring staff; and valued partners as tenants that also share my vision and seek to improve the quality of life for our members.

We will welcome back Dr. "Rocco" Perrone (Skin Medical Aesthetics), "expertise that isn't out to change you, but to bring out your best"; Whitney Bean (Optimal BodyWork), "specializes in treating musculoskeletal pain, injuries and mobility"; Dr. Jesse Mead, (D.C. Chiropractor) (SISU Mentality), "focused on corrective and preventative healthcare"; and Matt Boulerice and Ali Bahmani (The Smoothie Dr.), "providing healthy smoothies and protein shakes".

Most recently, I am pleased to informally announce that I have welcomed Dr. Doug Brown onto Foley's Board of Advisors. "Doc" Brown, with Board Certification as an American Board of Orthopedic Surgery specialist, has enjoyed an incredible career providing his world renown expertise and passion for health and fitness from high schools, to major universities, including the U.S. Naval Academy, to U.S. National Olympic and World Cup teams. I will be more formally introducing Doc Brown as we get closer to our re-opening. Doc will be a visible and active member of our gym and my advisory team as we step further up the value chain for contributing to the quality of life and availability of services to our members.

In closing, as we move closer and closer to FOLEY'S 2.0, the Harvard Business Review defines trust as "our willingness to be vulnerable to the actions of others because we believe they have good intentions and will behave well toward us." Trust is the nexus that will unite Foley's going forward. We will develop, post and strictly manage (Re)opening day operating guidelines and sanitation protocols, but we will need your help (your trust) in doing so. We must commit to each other, yes, trust each other, and hold each other accountable to maintain the safety of OUR GYM.

Borrowing from a write-up by Gym Automation, "the foundation of trust is built upon the basis that one's needs are being met. In order to reinstate this among employees and members, we must access the heart of trust as we disseminate critical information, maintain confidence, and contain illness. Doing so with vision, purpose, and clarity will accelerate our collective recovery."

God bless you all and thank you for your membership with Foley's Fitness and for your trust in my team and me, personally. We appreciate you, immensely.

Mike
